A Discussion: Black Hebrew Israelites?

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

Romans 8:18-19

This is controversial ground, and KSI/ABP is preparing to begin posting content in regards to this ever-growing phenomenon. Since 2017, I have been researching this issue and reconciling my current understanding of Scripture with information that has already been in the African-American and Christian community for over a century; and, in the Ethiopian and African communities for much longer than that.

I want to be Biblically accurate, and I want content on this site to be “sound.” Under the circumstances, this will take time because the already-viral allegations, propositions, and conclusions available on the internet and in print, are divisive, controversial, and (at times) all over the map.

I will say this much: Because I love genealogy; in 2017, I asked the Lord “Why?” Why slavery? Why was the Transatlantic Slave Trade allowed and what was the Divine purpose, if any? I have been on a 3-year journey ever since. I believe that I now know the answer.

I know that I am an Israelite! What that means will be explained in further content.

I also know that my mtDNA is L2c2. It didn’t mean much 6-years ago, back in 2014, when I took my first Ancestry DNA test–“Duh…I came from Africa. Tell me something I don’t know.” Today, after years of historical, genealogical, genetic research, it is definitely of greater signifigance than I realized.

I am actively working on this content, as well as continuing my research. More to come…
